I started my career in Lubbock, Tx as a free-lance Hair Stylist for numerous weddings and events while renting a space at a local salon. While I didn't plan to become involved in photography and event makeup, eventually, I was contracted by a regional publication, Wedding Connection Magazine, to design and apply professional hair and makeup looks for their shoots, which helped solidify my love for makeup. After moving out of Lubbock to the San Marcos area, i worked in management for a Regis-owned company reinforcing my skills in cutting hair, taking advanced cutting classes, and perfecting color techniques such as Balyage, ombre, and color melts. Overall, I am so excited to be back in my hometown bringing the knowledge and experience I have gained throughout my career.
