Four years 🤍

Somewhere around this time in August 2022, I started doing hair here in South Florida. And looking through these photos made me realize just how many beautiful humans have sat in my chair since then.

Some of you have been with me for years. We’ve changed, grown, laughed, talked about life, and watched each other move through different versions of ourselves. Some of our paths crossed only for a season. And every one of those connections has been part of this chapter of my life and my work.

Hair has always been my creative outlet, but it’s the people I get to create with that have given my career its meaning.

There was no possible way to fit everyone into one video but to every woman who has trusted me with her hair, sat in my chair, shared a little piece of her life with me, and allowed me to create:

I’m so grateful our paths crossed. And whether you’re still sitting in my chair today or life has taken us in different directions, I’m genuinely happy I got to know you.

We spent a few hours lifting her naturally dark brunette into soft, dimensional beige tones ✨ foiling, customizing and tailoring every detail specifically to her. But somewhere between the foils, the gloss and the finished color, we talked about life. We shared experiences, exchanged perspectives, learned from each other, and left knowing one another a little differently than when we started.

I’ve always loved that about the chair. For a few hours, two lives meet in one place. I get to create something beautiful and completely individual to the person sitting in front of me and somehow we both get to grow in the process.

The hair is the art. The human connection is the part I never take for granted 🤍
