Even a spa owner needs to unplug. 🤍
I spend so much of my time reminding other people to slow down, take care of themselves, listen to their bodies, and make space to breathe… and sometimes I need that reminder too.
A little time at the lake house in Georgia has been exactly what I needed. Fresh air, quiet mornings, time outside, and a chance to step away from the constant go-go-go of owning a business.
Self-care doesn’t always have to mean a massage or a facial—although I’m obviously a big fan of both. 😉 Sometimes it’s getting out of your normal routine, putting the phone down, taking a walk, sitting by the water, spending time with people you love, or simply giving yourself permission to do absolutely nothing.
You can’t pour from an empty cup. Find the things that help you refill yours. 🌿

A little behind the scenes…
Today, Nicola, Dr. Susan Baskin, and I stepped out of the spa and into the studio at Stella Mix for an afternoon of conversations, laughs, and LOTS of good information.
We had the chance to talk about what we’re most passionate about—from skincare and medical aesthetics to wellness, self-care, and the services we provide every day at Peaceful Body.
We tackled some of the questions we hear all the time, did a little myth busting, shared our professional perspectives, and talked about why education is such an important part of what we do.
