Let’s talk teeth whitening!🤩

Did you know your teeth have very tiny pores, just like your skin. That’s why they tend to stain with coffee, dark sodas, smoking, and even certain foods can stain your teeth. With time, your teeth’s natural color darkens and becomes difficult to clean!

Teeth whitening treatment works by creating a chemical reaction which then breaks up and lifts any stains up and out through these same pores.

There is no single whitening treatment that can whiten teeth permanently! I’ve already talked about how teeth are porous and therefore absorb stains caused by coloured foods, beverages and smoking. That’s why I always recommend 6-8 month touch ups and sale products to help maintain results!

Lastly there are different gel concentrations! (Teeth whitening gel concentration refers to the amount of active ingredient (hydrogen peroxide) found in the gel.) So if you struggle with sensitive teeth I would use a lower percentage of gel on you than I would on someone who doesn’t struggle with sensitivity, I carry 17%, 20%, 25%, and 35% gel! Nobody’s teeth are the same!😌
