I wanted to open up a bit about why I started Sage Advice MSO and why we go so much deeper on compliance than what you usually see out there.

A few years ago I lived through a nightmare with one of those injector mill setups. The medical director was barely involved, things were sloppy, they would not answer questions thoroughly we ended up hit with a TMB audit. It was incredibly stressful — but I got through it completely on my own, no help from them. That experience lit a fire in me. I kept thinking about all the providers out there building their practices who shouldn’t have to go through that kind of fear and uncertainty alone.

My background is what lets us do compliance differently. I’m an esthetician myself, I’ve owned multi location medspas, served as VP of Operations, worked in healthcare finance and risk management, written a business book on aesthetics, and taught a college course on healthcare career options. Before all that, I was a hospital HR director and went through numerous JCAHO and Medicare audits. Those experiences taught me that real compliance isn’t about surface-level stuff — it’s about building systems that actually protect your license, your practice, and your peace of mind when regulators come knocking.
