Stating JANUARY 6, I will be my own boss inside of .lasalle.denton 🎉 it’s just down the street, has its own little parking area, and the vibes are ✨ immaculate ✨ my girls from Captiva will also be joining so you can keep up with our shenanigans. I will be contacting all prebooked clients with detailed information, and your appointments will be staying the way it is, as I intend to keep my current Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday schedule. From now on, you can text or call my personal cell phone for bookings! I will be working over the next week or so on getting my new software and booking site (much more user friendly!) up and running and will share that when it’s ready to go! Please don’t hesitate to reach out with questions 💕

Many of you know that my grandmother opened Captiva in 2010 and I have gone from the receptionist to stylist to manager in that time and I’m so sad that this chapter is over. My grandmother is an angel who is finally taking the time to retire and be a wonderful great grandma to my boys and hopefully RELAX! I want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for not just supporting me over the years, but her as well. You all know she’s my best friend and I’m so proud that I got to work for her all of these years.

As many of you know, my son Carter was diagnosed with Joubert Syndrome exactly one year ago today. It is a rare genetic disorder that affects the brain, balance, and development. Families like ours often feel isolated, but the Joubert Syndrome & Related Disorders Foundation (JSRDF) has given us connection, hope, and support. After attending the conference in July, I love and respect this foundation so much and this fundraiser helps continue to move mountains.

With Carter, every little thing is BIG. Every purposeful movement, every smile, every small gesture is a milestone. I have become a much more strong and resilient woman in being his mother. As always, thank you to every single one of you who has stayed by my side and in my chair through the ups and downs of this past year.

This October, I’m joining their annual campaign: $31k in 31 Days.
The goal is simple but powerful — raise $31,000 during Joubert Syndrome Awareness Month to fund resources, conferences, childcare, and awareness efforts for families like mine.
