"Today was a Difficult Day," said Pooh.
There was a pause.
"Do you want to talk about it?" asked Piglet.
"No," said Pooh after a bit. "No, I don't think I do."
"That's okay," said Piglet, and he came and sat beside his friend.
"What are you doing?" asked Pooh.
"Nothing, really," said Piglet. "Only, I know what Difficult Days are like. I quite often don't feel like talking about it on my Difficult Days either.
"But goodness," continued Piglet, "Difficult Days are so much easier when you know you've got someone there for you. And I'll always be here for you, Pooh."
And as Pooh sat there, working through in his head his Difficult Day, while the solid, reliable Piglet sat next to him quietly, swinging his little legs...he thought that his best friend had never been more right."

I have talked about mindfulness in the past, but I think it's so important that it deserves more attention.
I still hear people say things like, "I can't do that". Of course you can. If I can anybody can.
What is mindfulness? Mindfulness is being in the zone, being present, being "here", it's being grounded. Mindfulness is losing yourself in making a puzzle, playing with a child, walking in the woods, scraping the paint off a chair you're about to restore, going for a run, practicing yoga or meditation.
Mindfulness is being, simply being, being in our heart, being in our body, filling up a greater space within ourselves. Mindfulness is not thinking. Mindfulness is experiencing thinking.
Mindfulness is different than setting intentions, such as, "I am peaceful", or, "I am healthy". Though both practices are important, both are different. It's easier to set an intention when we are Mindful.
Mindfulness is accepting ourselves and the moment as is...
