A really strong woman accepts the war she went through and is ennobled by her scars. I look in the mirror and see a few scars, but I like myself. I am a human being, with feelings and emotions and scars and flaws, just like anyone else. I think scars are like battle wounds - beautiful, in a way.

The photos can be of scars, incisions, acne burns, and/ or any open wounds. The photos do not have to show your face, unless the scar is on your face. The photos should be clear and not blurry.

If you would like to do a video. The video should be clear and you must describe your testimony. The video should be 3-5mins in length.

Example Questions: When did you get the scar?
Question: How did you get your scar
Question: How did it make you feel
Question: Did anyone shame you for your scar
Question: Are you still conscientious about your scar.

You can go to the FB or our IG page to view are current video testimonies of other women.

In order to be paid:
You must submit your photo to our messenger or email address. If the photo is approved, we will pay $10 per approved photo. Once approved we will pay you via cashapp. To receive your payment, your photo must be approved, we must have your waiver form and copy of your ID. You will find out within 1-2 days, which photos will be approved.

In order to be paid for submitting video.
You will need to show a 1-minute video clip DRAFT. If approved, you will be paid $20 for a 3-5 minute video. All 1-minute DRAFTED videos must be sent via messenger. You will find out within 1-2 days, which videos will be approved.

So my name is Kay Blanton. I was in a car accident October 9th 2021. I broke both ankles, right wrist, right leg, left side of ribs and suffered a huge abrasion on my forward along with a hole in my leg. I have many scars up and down my legs.

I use to cover up my scars and hole in my leg because I was embarrassed. People use to look at me wondering what happened. Well, I finally got to a point where I stopped caring how people felt. I decided to make awareness and now ready to speak for all women who have felt embarrassed to show their scars.

But during this whole time, I started noticing how the media always show cases women that have flawless skin. Didn't matter if it was models, actresses or a picture of a women at a beauty salon. It just made me mad that most of us women have testimonial scars and just because at have them doesn't make us less beautiful.

I'm simply wanting to make awareness that women are beautiful and can be what they want to regardless of the marks, scars, wounds, burns, or acne we have.

I started this Betrayed Beauty and Hidden Scars as a non-profit business in Texas. Currently, we're looking for women of all ages, any race that has photos of their scars that they don't mind being posted. I'm also looking for women that want to share their testimony as a video to tell us whether you've gotten your scar from having babies, surgery, cancer, genetics, or even hormonal changes.

Depending on the photo (severity) can be paid up to $40.
