It is with deep sadness that 5th Ave Curl Up & Dye announces the passing of our beloved stylist, Missy Brown.

Missy has been a cherished part of our salon family since the very beginning, and her loss will be felt deeply by all who knew and loved her. She was full of life, laughter, and kindness, always bringing smiles to everyone around her while making her clients feel beautiful. Her talent, compassion, and vibrant spirit made her truly one of a kind, and she leaves behind a space that can never be filled.

As we move forward, we ask that you keep Missy's family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.

To all of Missy's loyal clients, we look forward to helping you in the days ahead. We are also fortunate to have many wonderful local stylists in our community, and we will do our best to connect you with someone who can meet your needs.
Missy, you will never be replaced, and you will never be forgotten. We promise to cheer for everything Philly—unless they're playing one of our teams.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the CRYC. Please join us as we celebrate Missy's beautiful life. Covered dishes are welcome and greatly appreciated. In honor of Missy, everyone is encouraged to wear greenher favorite color.
