I’m sorry for falling off the face of the earth guys, I’ve been standing in my own way and I’m trying to figure it out🥰 buttt in other news I have lots of openings filling up at work so schedule with me asap! I’m in the spa Wednesday-Saturday and I’m doing facials as well as back facials and a couple body treatments like the raindrop wrap and scrubs. I’m sad to announce this but Breezy Fermosa will be taking a break this 2022 due to financial situations but I want to send a special thank you to everyone who came in for services with me this last year and I hope to reopen my personal spa again soon!💗Until then you can still schedule with me at Eden Spa downtown. It’s super important to hydrate during the winter and YES still wear SPF everyday! Cold weather can cause dry irritated skin and trigger other skin issues like eczema. Use lots of hydrating products and cut back a little on exfoliation. Gentle enzyme masks are optimal❄️

The goal of skincare is to fix your skin barrier and get your cells on a good turnover rate so that when you do come in, extractions come out like butter! Home regimen to help with breakouts and prevent them from being as bad! For extreme cases you can also add in a Benzoyl Peroxide gel to your moisturizer at the end. Do not use the gel if you don’t have a good calming moisturizer because over exfoliation will trigger MORE acne. Always hydrate no matter what skin type you are, yes even oily skin, there are oil free moisturizers that will still deliver the hydration you need. Hormonal acne is probably the most annoying type of acne to have, it’s painful, it takes forever to surface, and it can scar you if not handled correctly! To help prevent this acne:
🍕Watch your diet!- Iodine, dairy, and grease can trigger acne
⚡️Benzoyl Peroxide- is a topical antiseptic meaning it can rid the area of bacteria and dead skin cells
🐟Take omegas- one capsule can contain 1,000mg of omegas which is about equal to a 3oz serving of fish, but if you prefer to eat fish stick to lake fish like trout, bass, catfish, walleye, etc.
💜MOST importantly- go visit your esthetician!
