Melasma getting me down late in this pregnancy🫣
Melasma is a hormone-driven inflammatory skin condition affecting up to 50% of preggos and up to 33% of the general female population. Categorized by brown or blue-grey patches or freckle-spots of pigment on the face or body.
While I am looking forward to slathering myself in hydroquinone and a VI Peel postpartum (not preggo safe) we also have pregnancy safe options that I would recommend starting preventatively in pregnancy!
