Here are your immediate steps to soaking off your acrylics !! (One method out of many) first things first, you’re going to want to make sure that you file/cut down your acrylic nails. Next step is to takeoff your polish that lays on top of the acrylic( it’s going to help soak them faster) . After that process has been finished third step is to put your hands in your bowls of acetone (make sure the acetone covers all of your fingernails) . And this is where the process actually begins. If burning occurs for more than at least 7 to 10 seconds do not continue the process!!!! If not, then prepare yourself put on a show sit back and relax because this is going to take a while. You should be waiting for about 15 to 20 minutes for your first set out of 3 to 4 to melt your acrylic. Once it starts to become gooey or look like it’s shriveling, you can take your cuticle pusher and scrape off the acrylic. Once all nails have been scraped for the first time, file them down once more and repeat the process for about 3 to 4 more times until the acrylic is fully off. If having a hard time, but the acrylic is very very thin on the top of your nail, go crazy with the nail file but not too crazy to the point where you burn the top layer of your natural nail. Once all acrylic has been removed, you’re more than welcome to rehydrate your nails. Yes the acetone dehydrates your skin and your nail beds but that’s what cuticle oil and lotion is for. Once the process is done you should have healthy looking nails. You’re more than welcome to do whatever you’d like with him after that. If you do get them done the next day however or a couple of days after that, you might want to expect the next set of your acrylics to last for a very long time! I hope this helps!
