MOVING UPDATES

Hi friends-

I am reaching out to let you know that the timeline for my move to Minnesota has changed. Things are moving much quicker than we anticipated and Tom is needed in Minnesota by October 25th. It has been a logistical nightmare trying to figure out flights, driving, shipping our things, work schedules and care for Murphy.

Initially, I planned to be available for appointments through November, but to make things easier for the family as a whole, my last day in the studio will be October 22nd. I know that this is an unexpected and last minute change (it is for me too!) but please understand that this is the best option for my family.

I am incredibly sad to be leaving my business, but please know that Hearten Loft will remain open and you are welcome to book with Rebecca or Sarah. Natalie Soda, another lovely esthetician, runs a studio out of the Baker area and is another option for those of you looking for a new esthetician.

If you have an appointment booked with me ANYTIME AFTER OCTOBER 22nd, please consider it cancelled. Feel free book with one of the other gals mentioned above - their booking information will be linked below to make it easier for you!

My business has meant so much to me these last few years and am so lucky to call many of you friends.

A bittersweet goodbye

Dear Clients,

I am reaching out with very bittersweet news. Last week, my husband was approached about a management position within his company. We have decided to accept the offer and we will be moving to Minneapolis in December. Denver has always felt like home to us. It has never been our intention to return Minnesota since moving here nearly a decade ago- heck, we bought another house in January.

I recognize that this is disappointing news for many of you and am available to make recommendations for another esthetician within my network. The current Hearten Loft location will remain and you can still book with Sarah or Rebecca through our website. Another option is Natalie Soda, who runs NMS Esthetics out of the Baker area. I will link both Hearten Loft (to book with Sarah or Rebecca) and Natalie's info below. These three ladies are all GREAT! They've each done lashes, tinting, waxing and facials for me personally so I can vouch fo their talent + passion for the industry and I trust you will be in good hands.

My last day in the studio will be November 20th. Please book your appointments soon if you'd like to get in with me before then, as my online booking will be closing in the coming weeks.

*Those of you with current wax packages will be refunded for any unused waxes remaining in your package in December*

Spring 2021 Updates-

Hello!

I want to start by thanking all of you for helping us stay afloat during the last year. Your support of our small business has kept the lights on in our studio during these uncertain times.

We feel so lucky to be entering into spring with positive projections for our business. Many small businesses are continuing to struggle and we are among the fortunate ones to be coming out of 2020 with feelings of success and positivity - for that, we thank you!

Beginning in May, I will be working one Saturday a month to give myself more time with my family. I understand that this may not be convenient for everyone, but please keep in mind that I will continue to offer midday lunch hour appointments as well as evening appointments throughout the week for those of you who may need appointments outside of work hours.

Please look out for an updated service menu coming to your inbox and social media in the coming weeks with a few new services and a small price increase. Since I started in this industry in 2010, it has always been my mission to provide the most quick + comfortable waxing experience and the very best in skin + beauty. With increased demand, increased product cost and investments in advanced education, most services will see a small increase of a few dollars. I understand that this increase may not to be suitable for everyone's budget and am happy to refer you to another talented Esthetician within my network. I anticipate to have the new service menu rolled out by the end of April- updates to follow.

I am reaching out to fill you in on some exciting news!

First, my books are open beginning August 19th and appointments are bookable online through the button below.

Second, I will be adding facials + peels to the service menu beginning in September and I am so excited to expand my offerings.

Hello! I wanted to send out an update that Tom and I welcomed our son, Murphy Ryan, on June 20, 2020! We are exhausted but so in love with him!

Hello,

I am reaching out to let you all know that I had an OB appointment yesterday morning and was advised to stay off my feet for the remainder of my pregnancy- which means any appointments with me AND/OR Allesa are cancelled.

The last 3 months have been tough with the COVID closure, and now with my pregnancy. I was so excited to be back in the studio for a few weeks before baby arrives, but yet again, the universe has other plans.

In the meantime, please book with Rebecca (I will link her booking info below). You can also find her booking link on our website, heartenloft.com under "About + Booking." She has added extra hours to accommodate all of you as well as her own clientele over the next few weeks. Any packages purchased with me will not be valid with Rebecca, but I will be back in late summer and will be ready to start redeeming those packages for you.

I plan to return to work in August, at which point, I will be SO EAGER to see all of you! Trainings with Allesa will pick up once again with special pricing and I will offer modified hours to ensure that I am able to accommodate all of you!

We are in the process of planning our reopening!

Dear Hearten Loft community,

We are so happy to announce that we will be reopening on Monday, June 1st, 2020! This is a long update, but please read it thoroughly so we are all on the same page and can move forward confidently + safely.

A lot of things have changed since we closed our doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are in the process of ordering all of the items we need to safely and properly reopen, including gloves and additional disinfection and sanitization products.

When we reopen in June, we will be following the guidance of our regulatory agency, DORA, Governor Polis and Mayor Hancock.
Below are the current rules for reopening which we will be updated if there are any changes put out.

1. All services will be by appointment only, there will be NO walk-in appointments
2. All clients must wear a mask and wash their hands upon entering the studio. You MUST bring your own mask, one will not be provided for you.
3. Clients must wear masks for the duration of their appointment and services requiring the removal of the mask will not be permitted, such as lip +/or chin waxing.
4. Clients are not permitted to bring any guests along for their appointment.
5. Clients must maintain 6 ft. between themselves and others while in the studio.
6. Clients must complete a precautionary intake form and affirm that they or someone in their household is not experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.
7. There will be no more than 10 people allowed in the studio at any given time.

In addition to these precautions, we encourage you to use contactless forms of payment- this may be a card on file, ApplePay, Venmo, tap cards, and the like.

The bathroom and kitchen sinks will be available to you to use to wash your hands and there will be numerous bottles of sanitizer throughout the studio and treatment rooms.

We will be booking out extra time for each service to ensure that corners are not cut in cleaning, disinfecting and sanitizing. All common areas and high traffic areas will continue to be cleaned and sanitized, as well as all treatment room tools, equipment, implements, door handles, etc.

-AN UPDATE FROM DANI-
Throughout the last 8 weeks I have been asked by many of you for clarity on my maternity leave.
It is my plan to return to work beginning June 1st with a modified schedule. I plan to work until my maternity leave is scheduled to begin on June 15th. In a perfect world, baby will wait until his due date and I will be able to get all of you in during that 2-week period. However, he may come anytime between now and then. If that should happen, Rebecca is ready and willing to take on my clients as well as her own. I will send out an email if I go into labor early, at which point we will do our best to get you scheduled with Rebecca, or you always have the option to book online with her yourself on our website, heartenloft.com

I am also in the process of hiring 1-2 estheticians who will likely be on-boarded and ready to see you all by June - stay tuned for more on that as well :)
It is my plan to be back in the studio after baby by August- it all just depends on when he decides to make his entrance. In any case, there will be someone available to for you whether that is Rebecca, or one of the new hires. Updates will be provided to you through email and our social media.

Covid-19 Studio Update

Dear Hearten Loft Community,

I wanted to provide an update to you on the current situation at the studio.

Though Gov. Polis's Executive Order has been lifted and Mayor Hancock's Extended Stay at Home Order is set to expire on May 8th, Hearten Loft will NOT be opening until early June.

Due to constantly evolving guidelines and the national shortage of gloves, masks and sanitizing + disinfection products, we feel it best to remain closed at this time. This is not a choice we made lightly, but a measure we feel appropriate to support public health + social responsibility as well as the wellbeing of our clients, staff + community. These reasons, coupled with the the directive that pregnant women (ME) must continue to stay home through May, have led to this decision. We will not be opening until we can uphold Executive Orders and offer a safe environment to our clients and staff.

To those of you with appointments currently on the books, please consider them cancelled. I will reach out in the coming weeks to get you back on my or Rebecca's schedule once we are able to safely reopen.

We ask for your patience during the next month as this is a bit of an arduous process requiring the collaboration of Rebecca, me and you! This is territory we've never had to navigate and while it is stressful, disheartening and frustrating, we want to reopen under the safest and most responsible conditions as possible.

Please feel free to text, email ([email protected]) and DM () me at any point during this time. Online booking will remain disabled at this time. This situation is ever-changing, as are the Executive Orders, and directives from regulatory agencies. We want to eliminate the need to reschedule clients for the third time if orders are amended, extended, reinstated, etc.
