👀 Let’s talk under eyes.

Mine are very dark and always have been. Concealer and color corrector are my besties, skincare is my jam, and yes — I’ve done the allergy testing, the elimination diets, and begged my ancestors for relief. Genetics won. 😢

I’m almost 47 and it’s time for these bags to hit the road. It is time, friends, for an intervention.

🤦🏻‍♀️ My journey began with a consultation at a Plastic Surgeon’s office. He recommended a lower bleph (lower eyelid lift) — $10K, months and months of recovery. I shook his hand and said no thank you. (Nothing wrong with surgery if it’s right for you — it just didn’t feel good to me!)

I’ve had Dolly on my heart all day. 🌸

A client came in today for a two-hour facial and requested to listen to Dolly Parton during her session. I’m telling you right now, that was the sweetest most joy-filled facial I have ever given. It just felt like exactly what was needed.

Dolly’s voice was absolute magic. Her storytelling was epic, but when I was ten years old and saw her as Truvy Jones in Steel Magnolias, I simply couldn’t fathom her talent.
