- I am from Colorado and grew up in Morrison near Red Rocks Amphitheater, a truly magical place to spend your childhood
- I opened in 2018, and I am the sole owner of the salon
- I’ve been doing hair since 2010
- I got married in 2020 (cancelled wedding = elopement) and have been with my husband since 2012

- As a household, we have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 1 leopard gecko, and 3 hermit crabs 🐚
- The best vaca I ever took was to Australia and New Zealand for a month
- I am, in turn, obsessed with wombats

Time to talk shop! This is the product of sweat, tears, love, and a whole lotta cash. Opening a salon isn’t for the faint of heart but it is so unbelievably rewarding.
A little about Cedar:
- We opened as a *six* chair salon in September of 2018
- In September 2019 we signed the lease to expand our space and create the *10* chair salon she is today
- We expanded straight into the 10 week COVID closure
- We persevered and now our stylists are busier than ever and our apprentice program is thriving!

✨Let’s talk melting ✨
Root melts are one of my favorite services, especially on a long-time blonde who is finally ready to see some depth.
1. Apply panels of lowlights (think 1 inch wide sections) with the widest panels near the crown and the most diffused near the hairline
2. Only pull your lowlight through to the ends on the sections closest to the nape for a diffused look!
3. Don’t forget to add warmth to your formula to avoid a hollow effect.
4. Watch your clients eye color pop with the final result 🥰
Formula: 6-03, 6-8 + 6vol 2:1

Hello my sweet friends!
I hope this holiday season is bringing you joy and minimal stress. I’m over here working my tail off but I have never felt so fulfilled in my career and for that I am so thankful!

In the ever-changing world of hair, it’s starting to become impossible to do my best work while double booking. The demands of the industry are calling for most colors to be more like color-corrections than a basic partial highlight or balayage. That is why I have made the decision to switch from set pricing to charging hourly for color appointments starting in February. I know exactly what you’re thinking: that sounds expensive and confusing!! What does this mean for me?!
As it stands right now, you spend 1/3 of your appointment on the couch. While it doesn’t affect your color and we can formulate specifically for this, I would rather spend that time focusing completely on you, giving you amazing color, and building a relationship with you. I can complete most basic highlights and balayage appointments in two to two and a half hours, for reference.

The hourly rate will be $115, men’s cuts will be staying the same ($30), and women’s cuts will be changing to $75.

If you have questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to DM me. If you’d prefer to stick with a set price, Hannah and Bunny are very talented and will continue to offer this. As always, I would only ever hire people I trust.
