THE EUPHORIA EFFECT

Nothing brings a complexion to life faster than blush. Here's how to get this season's statement cheeks.

GET THE LOOK: To make it feel fresh, experiment with placement. Try putting blush on the high points of your cheekbones, where you'd typically put highlighter. It has a lifting effect.

To dramatic? Simply swirl it on to the apples of your cheeks, but give it a runway update by adding just a bit more color than usual. As long as eyes and lips are subtle, rosy cheeks look super chic.

Spring is right around the corner, and for those who live for the warmer months, what's a better way to celebrate surviving yet another gloomy winter season than looking into new hair color trends that are about to take over?

For spring 2022, I predict we will continue the dark, luxurious, rich browns with an edge. Think dark oak and warm butterscotch with added low lights to give the look a more youthful feel.

A strong, satiny lip is one of spring's top trends. For a look that signals vacation vibes, opt for a pinky-coral Dior Addict in Cruise on the lips then compliment the shade with blue shadow from the Dior 5 Couleurs Couture Denim palette.

HOT TIPS

Nails - the longer and more ornate the better - are this season's must-have accessory. But don't call it a trend.

The gravity-defying bouffants at Moschino's Spring 2022 show evoked The Ronettes or early 90s Cindy Crawford.

To achieve these great heights, as seen here on Gigi Hadid, first blow-dry the hair to maximum volume, then use a paddle brush and hair spray, such as Kérastase Laque Noire Extra-Strong Hold Hair Spray, then tease at the crown. Shape the hair into a French twist and mist it with hairspray.

THE WET LOOK

There’s something about glistening wet hair that just feels fresh, and DAVID KOMA and LANVIN agree too. Whether you wash and go your ‘fro, diffuse your curls, or just step out of the shower, there are many ways to intentionally wear your hair wet.

Miley Cyrus, Lil Nas X and Rihanna have all embraced business-in-the-front, party-in-the back looks in recent months.

For the chicest possible version, spritz a texturizing spray over damp or dry hair. It also gives non-mullet-y tea cuts a cool, airy texture. (I recommend Moroccanoil Dry Texture Spray.)

GILDED LILY

This season, 𝘢𝘥𝘰𝘳𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘩𝘢𝘪𝘳 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘢 𝘧𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳 that won't wilt on the dance floor.

The ombré blooms, designed by Fendi's artistic director of jewelry, Delfina Delettrez, recall artist Antonio Lopez's 1977 photo of a model with red flamingo lilies in her hair. Lopez, whose artwork from the 1960s and 1970s influenced much of the new Fendi collection, was known for his glam, groovy aesthetic, as well as his friendship with former Fendi designer KARL LAGERFELD.

To showcase Fendi's artful lilies, like the one shown here, hair stylist Guido Palau slid them into chignons - ensuring they'd stay vibrant until the last dance.
