At Deseo Salon & BlowDry each stylist has at least three years or more experience in their chosen profession, and you can trust them with all of your haircare needs. Sherry Velarde has over 15 years of experience in working in upscale luxury salons. She is an expert in haircutting, style, and color. Sherry has had extensive education and training over the years. She graduated from the internationally known Toni & Guy Academy in 2004. After completing her studies in cosmetology Sherry continued to pursue her career in the beauty industry by continuing her education. She has taken several classes in New York City at the Bumble & Bumble University, cutting classes with master stylist Nick Arrojo, color classes at the Wella Studios in Los Angeles. These are just a few of the many courses Sherry had taken over the years. After a decade of working in some of Denver’s top salons Sherry made the leap from employee to business owner. Sherry picked the up and coming Jefferson Park neighborhood in the Highlands for its charm and local feel. The Deseo Salon & BlowDry concept reflects Sherry’s unique style and her clients personality. It offers each and every client that walks through the doors with a one-of-a-kind experience.
