It’s a great day for a Botox before & after! 🌈🦄✨

It was this lovely lady’s first Botox treatment, and she was ready to soften her scowl. This patient’s main concern was her deep frown lines between her brows. As you can see, Botox helped soften those deep set lines and has decreased the strength of her strong frowning muscles (she is seen frowning in both photos, top: prior to Botox treatment, bottom: 2 weeks after Botox treatment). She was so pleased with her results, and says she finally looks like how she feels, “full of joy!”

Here is a good example of how one treatment will not erase static lines (deep set lines seen with movement AND at rest). After several consistent treatments spaced ~3-4 months apart, these lines will continue to fade, but may never be completely gone. How we think Botox/Dysport works vs. how it actually works:

Botox/Dysport activates slowly over a 2 week period. You will see the full effect at the 2-week mark. Even though one may kick in sooner than another, please wait the full 2 weeks to let your results settle.

Your results will then peak at 2 weeks and stay at its peak through week 8 on average, then will slowly start to return to normal (prior to your treatment). Everyone will be slightly different and timing will vary depending on how your body metabolizes the product. It is recommended to retreat every 3-4 months to keep up your desired results!
