Hiiiii!👋🏻 It’s been a minute, honestly! What a whirlwind the last 2 years have been!

Welcoming a new baby at the very end of 2023, moving back to my home state of Michigan from Georgia in 2024, then not even a year later moving to Denver, CO!! What an absolute humbling experience in all aspects. ✈️ I went from never flying to flying almost every weekend for 18 months. More than 28 flights, hotels and rental cars. From Detroit to Atlanta, to Nashville, to Denver to Charlotte…. Boy do I have stories to tell! 😅

I’m now currently servicing Denver, Colorado and surrounding areas! I do feel like I lost my footing a bit, but I’m currently on a mission to find it again! 🤍🤍🤍

For those of you who don’t know me personally; I’m Brandie B. 🫶🏻 I started full time bridal HMU in 2020. But I’ve been in the beauty industry since 2012. I have experience in salon management, film, theatre, lifestyle/editorial and retail. I offer natural bridal applications and soft lived in hairstyles. I’m often complimented on my calm demeanor and organization. I’m a mom of two, a boy and girl, who have my entire heart. I’ve been married for almost 14 years to my HS sweetheart. I’m a huge foodie and coffee/matcha lover, I could talk to you for hours about a recipe or new restaurant. My favorite cities to visit are Savannah, GA or Leland, MI. I love spooky season, farmer markets and cooler weather!

Preview season means seeing a peek at what brides are requesting this bridal season. Here are some things that I’m seeing:

Blurred and Tinted Lips:More brides are opting for a natural lip look, favoring stains for their transfer-proof and long-wearing qualities. The trend leans towards a blurred, smudged lip line, offering a diffused color that mimics a just-bitten appearance. Satin finishes are preferred over gloss or full matte, with pigment applied using a fluffy brush and patted on with fingertips for a soft effect.

Smudged Out Liner:While winged eyeliner remains highly requested, there’s a noticeable shift towards softer, smudged, and undefined lines this year. Using brown or black shadow or liquid eyeshadow creates a subtle, almost translucent flick that enhances the eyes without harshness.

Lived-In Hair:The focus is on unstructured, tousled hairstyles. Instead of precise bangs or defined front pieces, wispy strands fall naturally around the face. Emphasizing natural texture, the hair appears untamed and loosely swept up, with baby hairs left out around the ears and neck for the ultimate effortless look.

Madee’s wedding was super special because it was my last wedding booked in Atlanta. I spent the weekend with Madee from her welcome dinner, wedding morning styling, pre-ceremony touch ups and a second hair change/makeup refresh for her reception. Doesn’t she look like she’s headed to the CMA’s?!
