IN CASE YOU MISSED IT! 🖤

I am so stoked for this move and what it means for me, my family, & my clients. 🙏🏻

I won’t lie…It is a bit bittersweet to give up this independence I have had for the last 5 years, but the business that I have built is not going anywhere! It’s just going to be walking a different path. This is such a step forward in so many different ways and I’m just stoked to see what the future holds 🖤

Please keep on eye on your inboxes if you’re a client of mine, so that you don’t miss all of the deets!

Thank you to everyone who has supported my business and given me space to follow my heart in this transition. 🖤

It’s giving “New Year, Same Me! I’m just showing up different!” 💁🏼‍♀️

It’s honestly crazy how much your hair cut, color and style can change the way that you show up in the world…

You move with more confidence, you stand up a little taller, your voice is a little clearer and stronger…

I am about so much more than hair! I am about giving you an experience that can lift you up for the rest of your week, month and year. I am about giving you the oomph you need to show up as your best self!

If you’re in need of a kick start to your new year let’s chat about how your hair can help with that 🖤

When you come in asking for more blonde, B DELIVERS! 💪🏻😮‍💨

Anna just moved to Colorado from Texas and knew she needed someone that she could trust to get her as blonde and healthy as possible.

When you’re looking for a new stylist here are some things to keep in mind:

Do they specialize in what you’re looking for?
Does their portfolio have hair that you love?
Do they have good reviews/client testimonials?
Do they have a killer website and online presence?

The answer to ALL of these should be yes!

If you’re looking for a blonde specialist in the new year and have questions I would love to chat! Comment below and let’s start talking about your new 2025 hair 😍

Feat transformation 🥰

Three things you should ALWAYS keep top of mind for hair health:

🐅 your front pieces are so fragile 😮‍💨 if you put your hair up a lot, and/or wearing tight pulled back styles, you’re going to start noticing breakage around your face

🐅 if you’re using heat on your hair, your toner is going to fade faster! (This is also going to contribute to breakage and dryness.)

🐅 you don’t ALWAYS need to be using a purple shampoo. Over use of the purple shampoo is going to make your hair look darker and dingy, not brighter!

Which one of these are you guilty of 🫣😅

Swipe 👈👈 to see Jess’ winter transformation!

If you’re like Jess, you’re no stranger to changing up your hair! A large percentage of my clients like to mix it up a couple of times a year, so that means making sure it’s being taken care of in and out of the salon!

Things I do to help with easy transitions:
🖤 no permanent color
🖤 in salon customized treatments
🖤 custom placements & education

What you can do to help with easy transitions:
🖤 proper home care
🖤 willingness to dedicate time in the chair
🖤 realistic expectations on what your hair can do

Transitions can be tricky and time consuming, but as long as you’re up for the adventure they are so much fun! Do you enjoy changing up your hair? 👇🏻👇🏻

I got the best compliment from a new client yesterday…

“I’ve been following you on Instagram, and I knew I wanted to come see you because you actually show you have personality!”

I have been saying for years that it’s so important for me to show up here as authentically and genuinely as humanly possible. I want you to know that when you are choosing me as your stylist - you know EXACTLY what you’re getting (for better or worse 😂)

You are going to be spending so much time with your stylist. You want to know that you’re actually going to like them, vibe with them, have things in common with them!

When you choose me, you’re choosing a whole ass person with thoughts and opinions and a personality - not a faceless business (or someone who is just trying to show up the same way everyone else is..)

Is this something you think about when you’re looking for a stylist..? I want to know 👇🏻👇🏻

Truly the stuff of nightmares 🫣💀

Do you have one that you could add?? 😂

When you want it bright, but you don’t want it to be high maintenance. 🙏🏻

You can swipe to see Kylie’s before picture - if you want something like this you would book a complete maintenance service to start and then you would only need mini maintenance services every 8-10 weeks to keep up the brightness in the front 🥰 (most clients do a full color touch up every 4-6 months!)

If you also want to transition to something lower maintenance DM me a picture of your current hair and let’s chat about how to move forward!

How to make the most of your hair appointment when you go 4+ months between services:

⚡️take advantage of the in salon treatments - if you’re going a few months between your appointments your hair could definitely use a moisture/repair/etc boost! Use the few times a year you’re in to get one! (Especially if you’re trying to grow out your hair!)

⚡️make sure to book a “full color” appointment - for my books this would be a “complete maintenance.” You’ll have a considerable amount of grow out in 4+ months time, and the longer you wait the darker your hair will be/the more work you will have to do to make it blonder again. To avoid feeling darker and darker over time, or needing to do transformation services, booking the full appointment every time will make sure you always have the amount of blonde that you want!

⚡️ take advantage of all of the complimentary add ons! Get the scalp massage and the hot towel and the eye mask! Ask for the latte or mimosa! You only do this a couple of times a year - you may as well treat yourself to a day of fun and pampering while you’re there. 🥰

How many weeks/months do you usually go between appointments??

What is low maintenance versus high maintenance?

Lower maintenance blonding looks like the first picture! You have lots of dimension with pops of brightness, everything feels very blended versus having bright ribbons of contrast, and you can go 12 or more weeks between your full color appointments.

Higher maintenance blonding looks like the second photo! You have very little to no dimension, you see mostly bright blonde, and you typically need full color touch ups around 8 weeks.

Lower color maintenance does not mean lower home care maintenance though! To be truly low maintenance it is 80% home care and 20% salon care. You should be using a leave in conditioner, heat protection, weekly or biweekly hair mask/treatment, and a proper shampoo and conditioner at the very least!

If you’re looking to make the switch to lower maintenance color comment below and let’s chat about how we can make that happen!!
