Royal just got promoted from Associate Barber to Barber, and we brought in some help to break the news.
Royal’s path to Rosemont is serendipitous story. One of our barbers took an Uber to work, and Royal happened to be his driver. When our barber found out Royal had just graduated barber school, he invited him to check out the shop. Royal canceled his next ride right there and came in. That was April 2025.
Since then he’s worked incredibly hard, going through our education program multiple times before earning his first day on the floor this past February. Every piece of coaching, he takes it and puts it into practice immediately.
We knew we had to make this one memorable, so we brought in Scott Ian from Anthrax, Royal’s favorite band, to help surprise him with the news.
Congrats, Royal. Every bit of this is earned.
Denver’s first Rosemont x Ratio Beerworks collab beer, brewed right here in RiNo. Available this Friday at Ratio Beerworks Overland & RiNo taprooms!
A lager brewed with hibiscus and lime, pink in color, sessionable at 4.8% ABV. Built for these hot Denver days, light, easy to drink, and genuinely refreshing.
We spent the day on the brew floor at Ratio Beerworks putting together something we’re genuinely proud of. Huge thank you to Bess and Greg for walking us through the entire brewing process start to finish, patient with every question we threw at you two. And to Rufus behind the bar for keeping us fueled the whole time.

Danny is officially on the floor. After completing our in-house curriculum and spending years in our chairs as a guest, he has a deep understanding of what the Rosemont standard requires.
He’s brought the same discipline he built as a collegiate athlete to his craft, and he’s ready to start his career as a barber with Rosemont.

The Science of the Standard
Our hands-on curriculum days are intentionally structured to engage every type of learner. Whether you’re auditory, visual, or kinesthetic, our three-pillar system ensures the technique sticks.
The Breakdown:
1) Verbal Discussion (Auditory): Deconstructing the “why” and the geometry of the shape.
2) Demonstration (Visual): Translating theory into clear, observable movement.
3) Hands-On (Kinesthetic): Putting steel to hair and locking the muscle memory into place.
Standardizing the craft by respecting the way we learn.

Introducing Royal Lemery. Royal came from years in the restaurant industry before finding barbering as the perfect blend of creative work and technical discipline.
