HEY! *long post loading…*

It’s been a little while. My name is Rachel. Some people call me Bee. Im okay with either. My pronouns are she/they. Im an athlete, a plant parent, an artist; a person who enjoys many a things.

I moved to Denver in 2021, and I had no idea what I was doing. My main goal, legitimately, was to not be in Indiana. When I moved, I didn’t plan on continuing in the hair industry, because of a very similar sequence of events to what I went through recently. As things go, art overflowed. I didn’t run. I didn’t dig in the dirt. I didn’t spend time with my partner at the end of the day. Everything, became about building myself as an artist.

And genuinely, I want to apologize.

Because as my time drew to a close at 3LB, my heart wasn’t in it. I was unwell. Mentally, and physically. And my guests were not receiving the quality of services that I wish to give. I wasn’t taking care of myself like my body or mind deserved.

So I left.

And that was the best answer I had for myself at the beginning of this year. If I can’t balance it, it must not be meant to be.
But… I want to try again. I want to do things DIFFERENTLY!

With this, I hope to bring healthy conversation around the difficulties of balancing all of the aspects of our lives. I hope to encourage y’all to find the balance, and show the f**k up for yourselves.
I hope to be y’all’s biggest hype man in whatever finding that balance means for y’all. I want to take the time to have genuine conversations with y’all, and be able to offer support to make sure that y’all are doing okay.

Because if I’m honest, I wasn’t doing okay.

Which brings me to my most favorite announcement I’ve had in awhile… Im going to be partnering with .hair_ in Solera Suites on Broadway, starting out, at just one day a week, that day being FRIDAY!

If you’ll have me, I would be absolutely honored to have you back in my chair, and as a part of my ever continuing journey.

And if you’ve read this far, you’re the f**king goat, and I can’t wait to create this space and these memories with you all.
