Dig Studio’s Willow Bend Park and Natural Area in Loveland is featured on the cover of the May 2026 issue of Parks & Recreation Magazine from National Recreation and Park Association for its approach to universal access, inclusive play and community-centered design.

Designed alongside disability advocates, caregivers, veterans and families, Willow Bend was shaped around creating shared experiences for people of all abilities through accessible play, sensory-rich spaces and nature-integrated design.

We’re grateful to the City of Loveland, Colorado - Government and the broader project team for helping bring this vision to life.

Construction progress at Holladay Hills Plaza ⛰️

A recent site visit offered a closer look at the ongoing transformation of the renovated Macy’s building and surrounding plaza at Holladay Hills in Holladay, Utah.

One of the things we’ve loved most about this project is the opportunity to create a plaza that feels connected to the local landscape and gives people places to slow down, gather and spend time outdoors. The natural stone elements now going in are beginning to shape that experience across the site.

Grateful to be collaborating with Woodbury Corporation, Nelsen Partners, Spectrum Engineers and Hydrosystems as the project continues to take shape.

A look inside the process. 👀

Our team recently visited Pikus 3D to coordinate a custom BBQ feature for an upcoming mixed use and multifamily project in Utah City alongside Nelsen Partners. The shop visit brought the team into the middle of the fabrication process, surrounded by material samples, physical models and advanced 3D printing technology that helped refine the design in real time.

3D printed concrete continues to open new possibilities for form, precision and craft and it’s exciting to see those ideas move from concept into fabrication.

Swipe to see the range ➡️

Working on projects ranging from expansive regional systems to highly focused, small-site interventions isn’t just a matter of resizing ideas.

It requires a team that can re-calibrate effectively, shifting between big-picture thinking and precise, detail-driven ex*****on.

Each scale brings its own set of pressures, from long-term land performance, hydrology and infrastructure to tight sites where material choices, edge conditions and spatial decisions carry more weight. Moving fluidly between those conditions demands agility and design discipline.

Gilbert Regional Park — 272 acres
Heroes Regional Park — 47 acres
Surprise Rescue Oasis Park — 27 acres
ASU Novus — 19 acres
Sirrine House — 0.6 acres

It’s that constant shift, and the opportunity to shape places at every scale, that fuels the curiosity, creativity and genuine joy our team brings to this work.

This Earth Day, we’re proud to be working with the City of Littleton on Blueprint Boulevard—an area plan shaping a more resilient future for Littleton Boulevard
As planning lead, Dig Studio is guiding the vision and engagement process to help define a corridor that celebrates its historic character, supports local businesses, improves safety for all modes of travel, and strengthens long-term environmental resilience.

At our first open house, we focused on listening—what people love about the corridor and where they see opportunities ahead. More than 100 community members came out to share their input and help shape the plan.
Missed the open house? There’s still time to share your input online through April 23: https://www.letstalklittleton.org/littletonblvdutm_medium=email&utm_name=&utm_source=govdelivery

Unique Cloud-like Aluminum and Steel Design Emulates Denver Landscape - Metal Architecture 04/13/2026

Central Park Station Plaza in Denver brings a design-driven approach to station design.

Dig Studio conceived the plaza as a composition, layering transit, landscape and structure into a cohesive public experience.

Inspired by the high plains and lenticular clouds, the design translates a regional phenomenon into form. Suspended aluminum structures, a continuous ground plane and curvilinear elements shape light, movement and how the space unfolds over time.
