Zoom in on picture 3. When I say grey blending, I mean we are not doing permanent coverage on the greys. These clients have between 50-100% grey, and it's grown in, NOT just an uncovered root. Between the foils I typically do a Demi color tint to fill in the grey hairs but it washes out by time for the next color, and will not leave a line of dermarcation, which would cancel out all my reasons behind these strategic color placements. Furthermore, we can always adjust what's happening on the ends, intensifying the blonde or adding lowlights, whatever we're in the mood for.
