Some traditions never go out of style. A perfectly crafted cocktail and a Maduro blend cigar at Churchill Bar is one of them.

Did you know? The main entrance of The Brown Palace wasn’t always located on Tremont. When the hotel first was built, we welcomed every guest through our doors on Broadway. As our city grew, so did the need for our front doors to shift.

The bar is yours, courtesy of Sip & Stir: Mixology at the Brown Palace.
This July, step into the Brown Palace Club to learn the art of the cocktail from a professional mixologist — hands-on, unhurried and entirely yours to enjoy.
The featured pour: Betty Darling, our take on the classic Spritz, lifted with lemon and lychee into something bright and effervescent, composed for a summer afternoon.
Each seat includes two cocktails, a non-alcoholic option (or a spirit-free experience), a cheese board, recipe cards to take home and a keepsake from our featured spirit.
🥂 Saturday, July 25th | 2–3 p.m. | Brown Palace Club
Limited to 12 guests — reserve your seat at https://bit.ly/4e1FvzO.

There’s nothing quite like summertime in Denver and what better way to enjoy it than with specialty burgers and beer?
Every Thursday in July, you can enjoy select burgers in Ship Tavern and a crisp beer to pair, for $30. We’re talking:
🍞 Thursday, July 16: Patty Melt – it's a classic that we all know and love. A thick juicy patty layered with caramelized onions, aged Swiss cheese and resting between two toasted sourdough slices.
🌶️ Thursday, July 23: Southwest Burger – Paying homage to Colorado’s southwestern roots, we’re topping this burger with green chili queso for heat, and cooling it off with shredded lettuce, diced chilies and sour cream. Paired with a side of Tajin fries, it’s definitely a burger worth drooling over.

Did you know that The Brown Palace is home to a rooftop honeybee colony? 🐝🍯
While guests enjoy happenings in and out of our hotel, our royal bees are busy pollinating Denver and producing the honey we use every day within our hotel. Find it in our coffee shop, or even in our sweet-smelling spa products like lotion, shampoo and body gel.
Beyond the rooftop, we donated hives to the Denver Beekeepers Association to help establish more bee colonies in our city and keep greenery thriving throughout the Mile High City.

Often called the "Western White House," The Brown Palace has welcomed U.S. presidents for more than a century. Among them was President Dwight D. Eisenhower, who made this suite his Denver retreat and helped design it to reflect the Oval Office, complete with a replica of the Resolute Desk.
Today, guests can experience the Eisenhower Suite for themselves, where presidential history and timeless comfort come together.
