We all know I’m a cryer… so naturally I’m crying while writing this. 🥹

Back in the fall, Redken Artists were given the opportunity to apply for an intensive artistic mentorship program — a full year of intimate, high-level mentorship in our discipline (mine is color), plus facilitation, leadership, finishing skills, and even social media presence.

I threw my hat in the ring honestly not expecting to be chosen… but knowing deep down I’ve been quietly working toward this for the last 10 years as an educator with the brand. A lot of people don’t see what happens behind the scenes — the challenges, the wins, the losses, the growth — but every single one of us has been putting in work.

I’m beyond honored to share that I was chosen as a finalist out of 90 applicants:

✨ 10 International Artists

I feel humbled, grateful, and SO ready for this next phase of my Redken career.

It’s not lost on me how vulnerable (and honestly how much BALLS) it took for everyone to apply. Huge congratulations to every artist who went for it — keep pushing, because you truly never know when it’s going to be your time.

Thank you to the incredible artists and soon-to-be mentors for believing in me… I might actually start believing it too. 🖤

Hi Friends, I’ve always wanted to get more involved in the community in some way to help out those less fortunate than me. So this year I am starting here. I will be accepting donations for a family in need! In turn you will receive $10 off your service if you bring an item from this list . . Hygiene products: razors, soap, lotion, feminine care, toothbrush’s etc Paper products: toilet paper, paper towels, 13 gallon trash bags . . A little bit about the family: Mom, Dad, and 4 growing boys. They are from Venezuela and have applied for asylum. They can legally live here until their trial mid 2024. Unfortunately because of the way our system is they are not allowed to work for 180 days. Asylum seekers are people who flee their country of origin in search of safety and protection.
