Here are the final images that the always incredible captured. They deliver every single time! 📸

They’re all pros. Sugar Light Photography knows exactly what to have the kids wear, they’re completely equipped with spray bottles of water and combs to tame hair, wipes, music, toys, and a light, bright, airy studio.

And then the photographers! They know exactly how to get your little one to smile, even if they’re having a 2yo meltdown (ahem, Mia 😅), and how to capture their essence. They’re playful, tolerant, warm, professional, efficient, realistic, and truly talented.

Every parents I’ve spoken to whose child has been photographed by them has echoed my sentiments! It’s magic.

Even though I’ve been fortunate to work with at their studio for two years now, I always purchase the school photos from Oliver’s school because they’re simply adorable. 🥰

Oh thank you once again for knowing exactly how to photograph my little ones…I will treasure these images forever! 💙💗

Breastfeeding a nearly 2yo who doesn’t want me look at her or put my left hand on her….and insists on holding an empty phone case. 🤣

I never, ever imagined that Mia and I would still be going strong after such a challenging nursing journey with Oliver that resulted in exclusively pumping by the time he was 2 months old.

With Oliver, I never breastfed in public, never dealt with teeth (!), strong opinions, being mobile, and very communicative in all the ways. So this is very uncharted territory and I have to think that people have their thoughts on what she and I are doing, but it works for us. So that’s what matters.

I’ve taken Mia’s nursing journey day by day without any predictions for tomorrow.

I’ll follow her lead (within reason!) and do what is best for the both of us 💗💗

10 years ago…

Moved from Virginia Beach to Charlottesville

Chase separated from the USMC after 8 years of service

Chase started his MBA program at Darden

We backpacked Europe for 2.5mo and hit 22 countries

We experienced our first military coup in Istanbul, blocks away from the action 🫠

I was training fitness and nutrition clients full time with what was then called Fleur de Lis Fitness

I was deeply involved with the military spouse community and it was incredible

Lots of very filtered, saturated photos 🤣

Never imagined I’d be here a decade later being who I am at 40, working specifically with moms, with two children who have changed my life beyond words, living in Denver, but I knew I’d have my Chaser by my side. 💙

A (classically Claire) late ode to 2025 ✨

•High highs and low lows
•Lots of in between
•SO MUCH love for our party of 4
•Increased appreciation for everyday life and finding joy in little moments
•Lots of flights, mostly just the kiddos and me. Sorry, fellow passengers!
•Tons of time with family, loved ones, and our friends who are the best
•Kids in swim, dance, indoor skiing!
•Soooo many books read. Kid + adult
•Countless bags of Dino (or equivalent) consumed IYKYK
•Your girl turned 40 and hit strength PRs!
•We own a truck and I bike to work lol
•Deepened my passion for serving moms
•We encountered challenges but continue to focus on what matters

I’ve been going to at their Lakewood location since I was pregnant with Mia and it was the first prenatal massage where I didn’t feel like I was having fomo of non-pregnancy massages. It was absolutely glorious!

We ask a lot of our bodies and brains every day, so treat yo’self to a massage. They’re not just a luxury, they’re a necessity💗
