Sometimes all you need is some brightness around the face to change your look.
Face frame w/ a very soft and blended money piece

That one time I did face frame highlights!

It’s season!
That means all that good hair is about to be reposted!

Big Sexy Hair is in!
I used .us Amplify Mousse on dry hair.
Sectioned it out and used my Repronizer 27D to activate the mousse.
After hair was dry I used to air wrap the hair.
Let it cool down and used .us Airy Texture Spray and oil and Kaze brush to brush out the set and here you have it!

GORGEOUS BOMBSHELL 💣

I used to only do A Line bobs when I first started cutting hair. To me the more dramatic the angle the more challenging it was. And so I enjoyed and welcomed the challenge.
Thankful to have friends and mentors like and who constantly are putting out education and simplifying the super technical haircuts we get asked to do behind the chair.
This was my favorite cut I’ve done this week, and anyone who knows me knows I love long hair and that my sister .by.lirian is the short and bob cut queen! However this one made me super happy and also took me a good hour to do, because of how severe the angle was and I wanted to make it perfect.

I cut the back perimeter wet and then went in and blew dry section by section cutting and texturizing until the hair was done.

The best part was my clients reaction because she loved it and I forgot to record it but yeah! It was a drastic change and so glad she trusted me to do it!

Normalize letting people know what you lifted the hair to.
I see so many formulas in here these days and as much as it’s helpful, it’s really not.

I understand as hairstylists giving out education for free can be scary especially when we paid for it with our hard earned money. That’s not to say you can’t gate keep it either.

All I am saying is formulas mean nothing if you don’t let people know where you started.

Had I put the mids and ends formula above on level 9 pale yellow hair I would’ve gotten a totally different outcome and look. Had I put it on level 5 red orange hair it would’ve given me a different result.

I’m also saying this to stylists out there who just want the formula posted. Whether or not the stylist chooses to post it. It’s your knowledge of what can get there and what you need to lift the hair to that is the key piece in charging for that knowledge.

Hope this helps understand that there is so much more to just using someone’s formula that they post!

Brunettes offer such a challenge because there are so many different tones that live in the brunette family vs the blonde family.
So to get it right, you have to really know the color wheel.
Thankful for and I’m getting more and more comfortable with predicting my end result!

Have to also shoutout my girl Carly at .blonde.chronicles .bcu because she had some very helpful tips in her placement so I wouldn’t over-foil a brunette but also toning class.

I’m 16+ years in this industry and I feel more on fire than I’ve ever before!

I don’t only do lived in blondes!

Although this may look like higher maintenance it’s actually slightly lived in.

Baby lights mixed with strand lights and a root tap to soften the line as it grows in!
It does help that her base is lighter as well so this will grow out seamlessly as it always does when she comes in!
