Im Darlene, owner of Wax Mae Beauty. With opening up at our new location in Marlton, I figured I should do a little “about me” post.

I’m quite the child at heart. Disney movies are my forte 👌 binge worthy shows are my weakness(literally watched all 7 seasons of GOT in a week, to be caught up before season 8 came out) & I can quote SpongeBob ALL DAY, with absolutely no shame. I love to bake & try recipes that I find off TikTok, but a takeout night is always the best(because ya girl be tired). I WILL become best friends with any random dog or cat I meet, we have 3 fur babies of our own & they are rightfully spoiled❤️
I’ve been a licensed esthetician/wax specialist since 2016. Although I enjoyed my time working at a wax chain franchise, NYE 2021, my husband and I found out we were expecting a beautiful baby August 2022. With this next step in growing our family, I knew I had to do something to grow in my professional life as well. So, I took the BIG leap & opened Wax Mae Beauty in October 2022! I couldn’t be happier for the life we’ve created & the relationships I’ve made with all of my clients!
My goal is to make your wax journey as easy, comfortable & painless as possible. I am here to help ease those nerves as best as I can, to make your experience leaving you wanting to trash that razor for good!
