Watching someone step into a new chapter is always special, but being trusted with a transformation this meaningful on one of the biggest days of her life is something I’ll never forget.

The haircut was beautiful.

The bride was stunning.

But what I’ll remember most is the trust.

Today I turned off the lights in our Shelton salon for the very last time.

At 19 years old, I walked into this building as a young stylist with big dreams and absolutely no idea where this career would take me. Over the last 11 years, these walls have witnessed so much growth—not just professionally, but personally too.

This is where I built my clientele. Where I found my confidence. Where I learned, failed, succeeded, laughed, cried, celebrated milestones, and formed friendships that will stay with me forever.

It’s hard to put into words what Shelton means to me, because it was never just a salon. It was home.

While I’m feeling all the nostalgia today, I’m also incredibly excited for what’s next. A new space. New opportunities. A new chapter for our team and the guests who have supported us through every season.

Thank you, Shelton, for 11 unforgettable years.
