Spent the evening at a local Chamber event connecting with other small business owners and community leaders. One of my favorite parts of owning Massage in the Woods is getting to meet so many amazing people who care about making Des Moines a better place.

Small businesses thrive when we support one another. Looking forward to seeing where these new connections lead!

June 21st I'm taking an Introduction to Ashiatsu class!

One of the things I love most about being a massage therapist is that there's always something new to learn. Even after 12 years in the field, I'm constantly looking for ways to grow, improve my skills, and better serve my clients.

Ashiatsu is a unique style of massage that uses the therapist's feet to provide broad, consistent pressure. This class is an opportunity for me to explore the technique, learn more about its benefits, and see whether it's something I'd like to invest further in for my practice.

Whether I ultimately add it as a service or simply incorporate some of the concepts into my existing work, I believe continuing education is one of the best ways to provide exceptional care.

I'm excited to learn something new and see where this journey takes me!

What an incredible day at the Lighthouse Ministries 5K! ❤️

I had the opportunity to volunteer at check-in and spend time with participants after the race, and it was amazing to see our community come together for such an important cause.

The best part? We not only met the fundraising goal—we exceeded it! 🎉 Every dollar raised will help Lighthouse Ministries continue serving individuals and families in our community who need support, hope, and resources.

Thank you to everyone who walked, ran, volunteered, donated, cheered from the sidelines, or simply helped spread the word. It takes a village, and today was a beautiful reminder of what can happen when people come together with a shared purpose.

I'm grateful to have been a small part of it and already looking forward to next year!
