I don’t like calling people in the same field as me “competitors”.

I see them as people who share the same passion I do. 🙌🏼

At the end of the day, God created each of us uniquely. There’s only one Christopher Reil, and there’s only one Travis Newman.

We each have different gifts, talents, experiences, and passions that God has given us — and I believe we’re called to share those gifts with others. Including each other.

We can CHOOSE to be friends.
We can CHOOSE to support one another.
We can CHOOSE to celebrate each other’s wins.
We can CHOOSE to cheer each other on — even when we work in the same field.

Two years ago, I met Chris at the health fair at Southeast Polk High School, and I remember thinking, “This dude seems like an extremely cool and incredible guy.”

Since then, we’ve constantly supported each other by liking, commenting, and encouraging one another through our content and businesses.

Yesterday, Chris reached out to wish me a happy birthday and said we should get a workout in together.

My response?

“How about tomorrow?” 😂

And here we are.

Two trainers. Same passion. Different gifts. One great workout. 💪🏼

Iron sharpens iron. We don’t have to tear each other down to build ourselves up.

I’m grateful for guys like Chris who remind me that there’s plenty of room in this industry to support one another, build genuine friendships, and help more people become the best versions of themselves.

Can’t wait to run it back again, brother! 🔥

Proverbs 27:17 — “Iron sharpens iron.”

🎉 CONGRATS JESSI - UNDER 200 CLUB! 🎉

For the first time in a few YEARS, Jessi stepped on the scale today & saw a number that started with a 1.

And she’s officially 30 pounds down! 👏🏼

Jessi started working with me back in February and has been training 3x/week ever since. We’ve done weekly weigh-ins, and there have definitely been weeks where she felt disappointed by the number she saw.

And THIS is where accountability is huge.

Because we can’t quit just because we aren’t getting the results we want as quickly as we’d like.

We keep showing up.
Keep showing up.
KEEP SHOWING UP.

I am so proud of the resiliency Jessi has shown over these past 7 months.

And the best part? She’s doing this the RIGHT way.

She’s losing body fat while building muscle, and that looks different than simply trying to make the scale drop as fast as possible. It takes longer. You have to be patient and trust the process.

Her body fat is way down. Her muscle percentage is way up. And she talks about how much better she feels and how much more confident she is.

THAT is the transformation. ❤️

Now, I know one-on-one personal training is expensive. I get it. It’s not financially doable for everyone.

But sometimes the more expensive choice is continuing to go it alone when you already know you need accountability.

Continuing down a path of getting weaker, losing muscle, becoming more frail, and feeling miserable doing things that require you to move.

Jessi just purchased her 5th training package, and I think she’d agree that she hasn’t regretted the investment.

Because she didn’t just invest in workouts.

She invested in her strength, her health, her confidence, and her future.

And today, she got to see another piece of the payoff.

30 pounds down. Under 200. Stronger. More confident. More capable.

Jessi, I am SO proud of you. 🥹❤️

Now we keep going. 💪🏼

Wild seeing how much Bree has grown in 2 years 🤯 She just started volleyball & her Mom text me the other night that her strength is night & day difference from last year + that she’s got her overhand serve down 👏🏼 Hard work PAYS OFF!

As always, I’m most proud of how she’s grown in her attitude and effort. That’s the type of maturity that transfers into all aspects of life 🙌🏼 Congrats on 2 years Bree 🥳

Had to say goodbye to this snow bird on Friday as he heads back down to Florida for the winter. I saw Mark 2x/week all summer. He has already played in his 1st softball league game where he got a hit his 1st at bat and went 2-4.

Keep being the inspiration you are & showing all of us that age is just a number! I’ll miss you & see you around the holidays. Love you, Mark! ❤️

Special moment tonight. ❤️ God is so good & I am so incredibly blessed to witness things like this multiple times a week.

Daniel tried twice to beat his fastest treadmill speed…and came up short. So on the third try, we had to try something different.

I’ve used this coaching trick before, and it never gets old watching a kid discover what happens when they truly believe they can do something.

There’s real science behind the power of our words. What we repeatedly say to ourselves can shape our thoughts, confidence, focus, and even how we perform. And Scripture reminds us, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” — Proverbs 18:21

Daniel is only 7. He simply decided, “I’m gonna get 11.5.”

And then he went out there and ran 11.6. 🥹

The speed matters, but honestly, that’s not what I’ll remember most.

I’ll remember the moment he realized he was capable of more than he thought.

We can’t control everything—but we can control our effort and our attitude.

Helping young kids believe in themselves is something I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of. ❤️

MONDAY MOTIVATION. 🔥

5:00 AM.
Before the emails. Before the school drop-offs. Before the meetings. Before the chaos of the day even begins.

These ladies CHOSE to be here.

Some commute 10 minutes. Some nearly 20. We’ve got working moms. A working college student. Busy schedules, full calendars, plenty of reasons to stay in bed… and yet, they chose to get up and show up.

Can’t think of anything more motivating than that.

Because where we are today is largely a reflection of the choices we’ve made up to this point.

Our health. Our strength. Our confidence. Our energy. Our habits. Our progress.

It all starts with a choice.

You don’t always get to choose your circumstances, your schedule, or what your day throws at you. But you do get to choose what you do with what you’ve been given.

And sometimes the choice that changes everything is a simple one:

Get up. Show up. Do the work.

One choice becomes a habit.
One habit becomes consistency.
Consistency creates change.

So this Monday, ask yourself:

What choices am I making today that will create the life I want tomorrow?

Because your future self is being built by the choices you make right now. 👊🏼

Proud of this 5 AM crew. They don’t wait for motivation—they choose to move. 🔥

This flag hangs in my gym, but to me, it’s so much more than a phrase.

God put the idea for this business on my heart years before taking the leap. Fear kept winning. I convinced myself it wasn’t realistic, that I wasn’t capable, and that the dream was just a dream.

Then I met Jesus.

Everything changed.

My mindset changed. My perspective changed. I realized I wasn’t created to live controlled by fear, but to walk by faith.

This business would not exist without God. He opened doors, gave me courage, and continues to give me the strength to keep going.

So when I look at this flag, I’m reminded of where I came from, what God has brought me through, and what He can do when we choose faith over fear.

I believe every person God brings into our path is there for a reason, and I pray this business continues to be used to advance His Kingdom.

To everyone who has supported us along the way—thank you. ❤️

Faith over fear. Always.

“Do not fear, for I am with you… I will strengthen you and help you.”
— Isaiah 41:10

September 11, 2001 is a day I remember vividly.

I was in 3rd grade. I remember my parents trying to explain to me what had happened, but at that age, I honestly didn’t understand the weight of it. I was too young to comprehend the fear, the heartbreak, and the magnitude of what our country had just experienced.

Looking back now, I understand that it was a day that molded and changed our country forever.

It was a dark day. Thousands of innocent people lost their lives. Families lost mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, husbands, wives, brothers, sisters, and friends. So many lives were changed in a matter of minutes, and countless families have carried that loss with them ever since.

And then there were the firefighters, police officers, first responders, and ordinary people who ran toward the danger while everyone else was trying to get away.

The firefighters who entered those towers knew the danger, yet they climbed those stairs anyway. They went in searching for people they had never met, carrying hope into a place filled with fear. Many never came back out.

That kind of sacrifice is difficult to put into words. It was courage, but it was also love—the kind of love that puts another person’s life before your own.

Today, we remember those who lost their lives. We remember the families who lost someone they loved. We remember the first responders who gave everything they had to save others. And we remember the heroes who showed us what courage, sacrifice, and love can look like in the darkest moments.

We may never fully understand the weight of that day, but we can choose to remember.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸🕊️

“Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” — John 15:13
