The EV Spa crew and our families had Birdland Pool all to ourselves last night and it was such a dream to get to play and even do a bit of massage and meditation in the water after enjoying the high dive and slides like kids.
Today is the last day to reserve a Des Moines Parks & Recreation pool before or after hours for a private party (only one or two dates remain for the summer) but it’s absolutely worth it for a chill gathering with friends, family, or coworkers!

Yesterday our folks kicked off the holiday weekend with two very American traditions: a morning tie dye party (summer camp memories!) and breakfast pizzas (well, that one is maybe more Iowa than America) before taking care of our guests.
We hope you have a safe and relaxing weekend. Take care of yourselves and each other this 4th of July!

Welcome back, Vianey!
She’s back and working limited hours as she continues rehab following a major shoulder surgery. You can now view her openings and book online! We appreciate your patience in welcoming her back slowly and safely.
Vianey is currently seeing one client a day, and soon will expand to up to 3 hours a day. She is not currently offering deep tissue/targeted therapy.
She misses our guests and understands if you can’t get in on the limited schedule just yet. Her amazing coworkers are happy to continue taking care of you!
This is a perfect example for everyone seeing us for injury care and rehab massage: go slow and steady. It’s hard to listen to your body and the experts but the long term benefits of an intentional recovery plan outweigh the risk of further injury from rushing back to work and activities too soon. We know it’s hard, but your long term wellness is worth it!
