My bestie , Shirley Wehking and family, Chris, Maddie and Lindsey. They are not like anybody else! Special friends like this are in my heart and soul. I met Shirley 43 years ago. Shirley and Janice are best friends and somehow through a miracle from God I became part of the friendship. Each of us have had so many blessings in our life and also true heartbreak. 💔 Thankfully we still have each other❤️ I am so grateful to Shirley. How grateful I am to be Ron Walinder’s hairstylist and friend! A loyal and considerate person always. He is now retired. In his working days he was a leader in business and he always had an ear for what we were doing in the salon. He would make helpful observations and give guidance when I needed it. It was a scary time during Covid as we all remember. Closing the salon down for 10 weeks seemed like an eternity. Coming back to work was not so easy either. When Ron came in for his appointment he wanted to know how we all were doing and then he said, Lisa “ I can help you with this salon .” This was before the PPP loan came through. Just knowing there were people surrounding our little salon like Ron made it feel so much more secure. I had money saved for a rainy day and we did finally get the loan. It all worked out and we are still here styling hair! Thank you Ron from the bottom of my heart.❤️

Keri Hubert brought her kids to Headquarters Design Studio when they were young. Now, James and Ella are all grown up! I seeJames throughout the year, and sometimes Jeff joins in too. They're more than just clients - they're friends. Whenever they visit, laughter fills the air. We catch up on life, and I always get a good dose of humor and heartwarming stories. I love having them around! One special memory that stands out is Keri's mom, Marion, who loved celebrating her Halloween birthday every year. She was such a joy to talk to. Three generations of love and laughter - what a blessing! ❤️xxo

Just a few months older than me, my cousin Albert Gualano, named after his father but almost named after our grandfather Cosimo Zinna. It really seems like a cool name now, but back in the 60's my Auntie Lee just couldn’t name her baby boy Cosimo. I used to run into him at the Axel roller rink and the weekend dance clubs, and I was always so happy to hang out with Al and his friends - it was the late 70’sand we were invincible then. I looked up to him, and as his hairstylist, I got to know him even better. Over 43 years, 258 hours, and 15,480 minutes, I'm grateful for our time together.❤️ I love you Al.❤️
