A little business + life update 🤎

First, I truly cannot say THANK YOU enough. Having a schedule this full is something I always prayed for, and I will never take for granted, and I’m incredibly grateful for every person who chooses to get services done by me and support KB Beauty.

But with Baby Battreal on the way, I have to start practicing something I’m admittedly not very good at, especially with work, and that is saying no. 😂

I’ve cut back my working hours on paper, but I haven’t actually been sticking to them. I’ve continued squeezing people in, staying late, coming in early, skipping breaks, and turning shorter workdays into 10–12 hour days because I hate telling anyone I can’t get them in.

And I just can’t continue doing that.

Effective immediately:

• I am no longer accepting NEW lash clients. My lash books are officially closed to new clients for the time being. If you are not a current client, a previous client, or someone I’ve already spoken to about doing lashes- unfortunately I will have to turn you away and recommend another artist at this time.
****New clients are still welcome to book my other services!****

• My current lash clients need to pre-book. I highly recommend scheduling your fills before leaving your appointment or booking several appointments ahead. I won’t be adding extra days, staying late, coming in early, or squeezing appointments into my time off if my regular availability fills up.

• My cancellation/no-show policy will be enforced. I currently have a lash waitlist of around 10 people, and I’m booking into November, so a last-minute cancellation or day-of no-show leaves an appointment that another client would have happily taken. Applicable late cancellation/no-show fees will be charged.

•Need a different lash artist? I’ve got you. 🤎
If you’re inquiring about becoming a new lash client, or you’re a current client of mine who can’t find an appointment that works with your schedule and would like to try another artist, please don’t hesitate to reach out!

While I’m sure there are plenty of talented artists in our area, I have a select few lash artists that I personally know, love, and completely trust their work! I’m always happy to point you toward someone I feel confident recommending. There are no hard feelings whatsoever if you need to see someone else — I want you taken care of, even when my schedule can’t accommodate you. 🤎

Most importantly, I’m going to start sticking to my actual working hours and giving myself breaks during the day.

This isn’t because I’m any less grateful for being busy — quite the opposite. You guys have supported me enough that my books are beyond FULL, and I’m so thankful. I just need to find a healthier balance between being your artist, running my business, taking care of myself, and getting ready to become a mama.

✨ Life & Business: A Few Updates from KB Beauty ✨

Hi friends! 🤍

I wanted to hop on here and share a few updates with you all!

First and foremost- THANK YOU!! Truly.

I have been blessed to do what I love for several years now, and it is because of each and every one of you. Whether you’ve trusted me with your lashes, permanent makeup, a tiny tattoo, spray tan, teeth whitening, body sculpting, permanent jewelry, or any other service, I never take that trust for granted.

What started as a dream has grown into something so much bigger than I ever imagined, and I am endlessly grateful for every client who has supported my small business along the way. Thank you for allowing me to do what I love every single day! 🥹

As many of you know, I have always tried my best to accommodate everyone—coming in early, staying late, squeezing people in on my days off, and sometimes even working from home when needed😬😅. I truly love taking care of my clients, you all are like friends or family to me, but moving forward, I’m creating a more sustainable schedule so I can continue giving each of you the best experience possible while also taking care of my health and spending quality time with my family.

Many of you have followed along with our IVF journey, and as we prepare to start another round of it, my schedule throughout July may look a little different. Thank you in advance for your patience, understanding, and prayers during this season. It means more than you know. 🤍

Because of this, I will be making a few adjustments to my business hours. Don’t worry—I will still have morning, afternoon, and evening appointment options available! I simply won’t be extending myself five or six days a week like I have in the past.

✨ Pre-booking will be more important than ever!

Many of my services are already booked 2-4 weeks in advance, so I highly encourage scheduling your next appointment before you leave to make sure you get the day and time that works best for you.

One final reminder—because my availability is becoming more limited, I will also be enforcing my cancellation and no-show policy more consistently. Last-minute cancellations and missed appointments make it difficult to accommodate other clients who are on my waitlist or trying to book.

I completely understand that emergencies happen, and I will always try to extend grace when appropriate. I simply ask that you respect my time (and job) just as I respect yours. 🤍

Now for the fun stuff…

✨ My NEW lash system officially launches THIS WEEK!

I recently completed additional training and invested in a new lash curing system that instantly cures the adhesive. I’m especially excited because this technology can be a game changer for many of my sensitive lash clients, while also improving your overall lash experience and retention!

I’ve been working behind the scenes on some exciting additions that I cannot wait to share with you all. Stay tuned!

Lastly, beginning August 1st, there will be a price adjustment on select services, primarily lash services.

This is never an easy decision, and honestly, I’ve put it off for as long as I possibly could. The cost of salon-quality products, equipment, continued education, certifications, and investing in the newest technology continues to rise. This small adjustment allows me to continue providing the high-quality services, products, and experience that you deserve.

Thank you for supporting my dream, trusting me, cheering me on, and allowing me to be part of so many special moments in your lives! I truly have the sweetest clients, and I cannot wait to continue growing with all of you.
