BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT: After eight years in the aesthetics industry, Okaloosa County resident Kelsea Brown has opened her own studio in Destin following the birth of her daughter and years of experience at a local spa, bringing a holistic approach that takes into account the Florida lifestyle.

Brown, who has lived on the Emerald Coast since age 4 and graduated from South Walton High School, opened Aesthetics By Kelsea at 4507 Furling Lane, Suite 214, in Destin. The studio offers customized facial treatments, full body waxing and specialty services.

The studio also provides full body waxing services, including Brazilian and bikini waxing for women, eyebrow shaping, leg waxing and chest and back waxing for men. Brown additionally offers lash lifts and tinting as an alternative to lash extensions.

One of her specialty services uses Osmosis MD skincare products for nanoneedling collagen induction therapy, which she said targets fine lines, wrinkles, acne, scarring, texture and tone while being safe for all skin types.

Happy Mother’s Day from me and mine🌺 what a gift it is to be called mom! I hope all of you mamas had the best weekend being spoiled & celebrated by your loved ones☀️

Lots of reflection happening this week, and today especially with it being the last day of my 20s.

Some will say birthdays are “just another day” but for me have always felt were an opportunity to look back and see where I thought I would be at x age versus where I am now.

And holy crap, 20 year old me would be blown away with where, what and who I am at 30. I am extremely grateful for all of the trials and tribulations that tested young Kelsea’s patience, challenged her character and ignited a growth of grit that got her forward and through.

She really did believe she could, and she DID. Here’s to the unwritten future, new opportunities to grow and become a better version of me than I was yesterday.

Forever indebted to the community of people that took a chance on little me and those who continue to show their support personally and professionally. I love you all 🩷

There’s no better feeling than having the opportunity to help others feel good about themselves and their skin. Feeling extra grateful for this career and the chance to make an impact all while raising a baby. Just know that I value the time spent in this room so much.
