First big chop I've done in a while but this girl is my best friend so I knew she was ready. Normally I could never do such a big change without internally panicking... because as a hairstylist, you hear one too many horror stories of big chops gone wrong where the client leaves miserable... but I trust her and she trusts me which very quickly eases those worries 😍 I love how it looks curly but I feel like it'll be just as cute straight 🥰

Today's practice cut was this cute little "bixie"...except it's hard to showcase the pixie part of the cut on a mannequin lol. This was definitely a fun one to do and kind of took my back to the hair cutting basics 😋

Sometimes we just need a little change ❤️🔥☀️ We wanted to do a coppery red over our previous balayage. Obviously we brought her blonde up just a tad but the main focus was the red and a good cut lol. Unfortunately forgot to take before pictures and didn't get the best after pictures but I figured the change was still worth sharing 😋

This beautiful girl decided it was time to ditch the heavy highlight and switch to something a little easier to maintain. I touched up the highlights around her hairline so she would still feel blonde whenever she pulled her hair back. For the reverse balayage we used an even mix of 6-0 and 6-65 of Igora Royal. I tried to keep a good bit of her blonde to avoid shocking her with too much dark. If I had to do anything different though I'd probably use Igora's Vibrance line instead and add a little more lowlights. Still very much enjoyed this change regardless 🥰

I obviously love my layered cuts...I can't help it 🤣 The styling on this one was fun even though she's got horrendously damaged hair and a funky part 🤣🤣🤣

Wanted to try some different cutting techniques to create this extra textured look 😎 This super thick hair is kinda hard to work with but I think it turned out pretty cool

Hey there IG....long time no see. I took a little bit of a hiatus from hair to do other things but I am back now. I've decided to get back into the swing of doing hair again with this fun and trendy, long wolf cut 🥰 My goal for the year is to be more active here and post anything and everything if I think about it lol

Had the greatest honor of granting this lil dude’s one birthday wish! He wanted a red mohawk and we did it! 🤘🏼😎 Gotta love when your client has a big grin during the whole appointment😋☺️

I still suck at before and after pictures but at least I have this gym. We love a client that comes in and says “do whatever you want”. So we chopped all her hair off and balayaged a beautiful vibrant red onto her ends 🔥😍 You’ll just have to take my word for it but the end result was hot 🔥🔥🔥

Always love seeing this beautiful smiling face! 🥰 It’s never a dull day when she comes to see me 💕 the last picture is by far my favorite 😂
