She already had beautiful natural brow hair, so the goal wasn’t to give her a completely different shape — it was to fill in what was missing, create a little more balance, and make every new stroke blend into what was already there.

That’s always what I’m looking for with microblading.

Not brows that immediately look “done,” but those little changes that somehow make the whole face feel more polished.

One of the biggest misconceptions about permanent makeup is that we simply choose a brow shape and start creating it.

Your skin type, how much natural hair you have, the direction it grows, where you’re missing density, your natural asymmetry, your undertone and any old permanent makeup can all change the way I approach your brows.

And after doing this for many years, one thing I’ve learned is that we don’t have to “fix” everything.

Sometimes a little asymmetry looks more natural. Sometimes an area doesn’t need another stroke. And sometimes the technique a client originally asks for isn’t actually the technique I would recommend for her skin or brows.

My job isn’t simply to give everyone microblading.

It’s to figure out what will look the most natural on you — not just immediately after your appointment, but once everything heals and settles. 🤎

At first glance, you might think she simply needed a little lipstick—but look closer. 👀

Her lips already had a beautiful natural shape. The color, however, was lighter and uneven in certain areas, causing parts of the border to blend into the surrounding skin. Without makeup, the shape didn’t stand out as clearly as it could.

So, we created a plan. ✍🏻

The goal wasn’t to make her lips look bigger or give her a bold, artificial color. It was to restore the definition that was already there, balance the tone and choose a shade that would bring more life to her complexion.

Then came the process: carefully defining her natural border and building the color gradually so the final healed result would remain soft and wearable. 💋

And this is the fresh result—a more even color, a beautifully defined shape and lips that instantly brighten her entire face.

Right now, the color is bold and there is some normal swelling. As the lips heal, the intensity will soften into a natural-looking tint—giving her that polished look without needing to reach for lipstick every morning. ✨
