Processed food⬇️ A majority of what we think is “food,” is indeed NOT food. The industrialized goop that sits on the grocery store shelves for months on end without rotting because of preservative fillers…is not food! It is lab-made, processed junk. To discover this for yourself, all you have to do is: research individual ingredients. When I started doing this, I discovered that some ingredients have “safe levels” to be in food. So the-orange drink you are giving your child has the safe level of food coloring, but that is just for that product - it doesn’t account for the conglomerate that is consumed throughout the day. The processed food here and there and for a snack and sprinkled in at dinner. You may well be over that “safe level” and never know! ….and we wonder why people are so sick. Your body is naturally in tune with whole foods. When we consume ingredients that we can’t pronounce, we generally have no clue how that ingredient is interacting inside of our bodies. It’s time to take back our power and start sourcing our food locally. It’s time to learn how to cook and to bake. It’s time to regain our health. What do you think? #homestead #homesteadlife
