Today's events have been extremely heartening. A big blast of fresh air and optimism in a dark time. Just two weeks ago we were under siege as a people. We have a lot of work to do to pick up the pieces and make it through this crisis together.

It's up to us as Americans to work hard on solutions for all the problems we face ahead together. The pandemic is far from over but we now have the leadership to get through it. We've lost over 400,000 of our sisters and brothers in the last year. We can be a part of the solution to stop this senseless loss.

I'm excited to get these buses out of our lot and back into the streets helping Detroiters when the time comes. Until that day we'll just be here getting ready and pitching in where we can. Let's do this. 🇺🇸❤️

After seeing about two dozen buildings ranging from little to big to super gigantic I can say we have most likely found our new home.

We saw falling down shacks, gorgeous former industrial palaces, an abandoned grocery store that was just a little too small, and even a former pet crematorium. That last one was most definitely a NO GO.

This place we're close on feels like our spot. It's small enough we can make it happen but big enough we can offer good, solid space to other social benefit and non-profit businesses.
