On Monday, October 26, we’ll be gathering at Dzanc House alongside Holly Bones’ Flirting with Death solo exhibition for an evening of art and candle creation.

Browse the entire collection of Holly’s original artwork while creating your own custom Halloween candle — choose a scent from a selection of dark, autumnal, and haunting fragrances, then give your creation a name of its own.

It was incredible seeing SO many familiar faces return to my booth to replenish their favorite scents, share your sweet feedback, and see what’s new — alongside so many new faces discovering Sister Scents for the first time

I nearly SOLD OUT of the entire new Halloween & Autumn collections!! 🦇🍂

I’m endlessly grateful for every customer, friend, studio helper, and my incredible booth helper who helped make this weekend so special- I couldn’t do this without you. 🖤

Now it’s back to the studio — I’ll be busy pouring candles, packing incense and making more magical things for you.

This collection feels a little more personal. Darker, stranger, and a little more me.

Each of these scents was custom created to feel familiar, but not quite recognizable — unique autumnal blends meant to invoke nostalgia, mystery, and that strange feeling of remembering something that never quite existed.

This collection is an ode to myself

To the work, the sleepless nights, and the choice to keep creating even when there was no guarantee it would work. One year ago, I took the leap into full-time self-employment — building a life around my own ideas and my own creative freedom and I’m so glad I did.

Sister Scents is coming for Detroit! 🖤

I’m SO stoked to be vending at Frankenfest this Saturday, September 19, and then heading to Ferndale the following weekend for DIY Street Fair, September 25–27!

This will be my first time being part of both of these events, and I’m feeling incredibly grateful to finally experience two markets I’ve admired and wanted to be a part of. I can’t wait to be surrounded by so many talented makers!

Witching Woods is a fruity take on autumn, blending plum, sweet orange, cherry, and warm spice with a deep, woodsy cedar base. It’s dark and juicy without being overly sweet, with just enough woodsiness to make it feel like wandering through the forest on a cool autumn night.

This is the perfect fall scent for anyone who loves the season but wants something a little different from the typical pumpkin and cinnamon fragrances.
