Group of runners and walkers that meet each Tuesday at a different downtown Detroit restaurant. The start time is 5:45 p.m. Membership is free.
The Downtown Runners and Walkers is the popular running/walking group. Each Tuesday - rain or shine - 20 to 40 people ranging in abilities from seasoned marathoners to beginning walkers meet at a different metro Detroit site. After route instructions, people take off on a course of four to eight miles. except for those days marked with an *, when the start time is 6:15 p.m.. After the run or walk,
