We are celebrating summer with our historic picnic run from Windmill Pointe Park in Grosse Pointe, courtesy of Jeanne Bocci.

4- and 6-mile routes are available - swipe for details - or make your own out-and-back route.

There is also a pool and swimming available onsite - pack bathing suit and towel!

Secret code to get in the gate is “I am with Downtown Runners!”.

Arrive any time after 5pm.
Run at 6pm.
Barbecue and potluck style picnic dinner after the run.
BYOB - cans are fine but no glass please.

Cost: Bring a dish to pass or consider donating $5 to the DTRW bucket which will be onsite. We are non-profit and work hard to keep these events free for our members!

Schedule update! We are going to run from Brewery Faisan one more time for the last Tuesday of August on 8/25 at 6pm.

DTRW will be back at Tony V’s for August 4th!

This is a change from our original schedule (new location at the Nick Gilbert Way) as we were unable to secure parking for a new downtown location; Tony V’s has ample parking, seating, food, and is always happy to welcome our group!
