Project Frozen
Project Frozen is an organization collecting winter gear and personal goods for the homeless in Metro Detroit and surrounding areas.
In 2013 Angela Schwartz and Christina Brennan began asking friends and family for donations to make survival backpacks for the homeless. After the cold and hard winter in 2013-2014 they knew they had to do something! An overwhelming response of love, support, donations, and the gratefulness of the people they were reaching out to made both of them think that this could be more than a one time thing. After much thought and anticipation Project Frozen was born!

Hey Facebook followers (the 60 this might reach):
We got a request for women's shoes size 9 and women's pants sized 12 for someone in need. A local hotel owner is allowing this woman to stay until she gets on her feet and can find a job but she doesn't have much as far as clothes go. And of course any hygiene products and feminine hygiene products are always helpful! Thanks in advance! π

Update about what's going on with us: Here's our old/new logo that can be blown up to size. We are excited that we will be able to make t-shirts with this one hopefully (thanks Jason!) If anyone knows of a place that's professional and affordable please let us know! It's been a quiet summer for us, we know, but we have still been collecting winter jackets and donated goods and plan on continuing to do so and get out as much as we possibly can. We are also constantly working on building relationships with the community and local shelters. Also, we are still aiming for a 501(c)(3) non-profit status on the horizon somewhere. We are still constantly learning so much! Thanks to everyone for your constant support and all of the donations. We couldn't do it without you all! πππ
