Chon’s Unique House of Hair LLC
Chondra Jackson-Yeargin begin her cosmetologist career at Alma’s Beauty College in Detroit and has been a licensed Master Cosmetologist for 30 years. In 2004, the dream became a reality to provide clients with outstanding salon services while ensuring safe, comfortable and a relaxed atmosphere which led her to open Chon’s Unique House of Hair. Even experiencing ups and downs as a business owner, it has taught Chondra to persevere through any challenges that come her way. Through years of experience, Chondra has developed extraordinary skills specifically cuts, colors, hair extensions and has become a customized hair treatment and maintenance products for her clients. Chondra truly enjoys helping her clients look their best for special occasions such as weddings, graduations, television appearance, retirement and promotional events. Her extensive knowledge compromised of business and best beauty and wellness practices she continues to share with all the Hair Stylists and Cosmetologist Technicians in the Salon. Chondra gives great recognition to Alpha Chi Pi Omega Sorority and Fraternity Incorporated founded by Dr. Marjorie Joyner-Stewart for equipping and developing her in hair care and beauty advancements. When not creating beautiful hair and wellness products, Chondra enjoys entertaining family and friends, ballroom dancing, spending time on waterfronts, and serving as active member with her Faith-Based Organization. Chondra is a licensed Master Cosmetologist with a passion for making her clients feel beautiful inside and out!

Officially graduated from Full Sail University🎓 last week.
This is a personal note from her:
“After years that held more loss, rebuilding, and quiet survival than I ever expected to carry, I’m standing here praising God for this accomplishment. 🙌🏽
This achievement is deeply personal. It’s not just about finishing school—it’s about finding my way back to myself. There were seasons when simply getting through the day took everything I had. Seasons where dreams felt distant, and the idea of a “future” felt uncertain or out of reach.
But somewhere along the way, I chose to keep going. Not because it was easy, and not because I always felt strong—but because I refused to let my story end in the middle of the hardest chapters.
This degree became more than an education. It became healing. It became focus when life felt scattered. It became proof that even after deep loss and long silence, creativity and purpose can return in new ways.
I carry my daughter, Camille Rae' Crenshaw, in my heart in everything I do. I carry every hard day, every moment I had to start over, and every small step forward that no one else may have seen. And I carry the pride of knowing I didn’t give up on myself.
To my twin sons Keelan Winston & Kienan Winston, my family, my friends, salon family, and the instructors and classmates who supported me along the way—thank you for holding space for me, encouraging me, and reminding me that I could still build something meaningful.
I don’t take this moment lightly. I understand now that healing and growth don’t have timelines, and it is never too late to begin again.
This is not just a graduation. It is a quiet victory. A personal return. A beginning I once wasn’t sure I’d get to see.
And now, I step forward—still becoming, still creating, still believing.”
