For quite some time we struggled to establish where Blonde Sugar fit. After the year Black women have had, it became very clear.

At Blonde Sugar, Black women have and will continue to be the driving force behind brand messaging, formula, products, and shade range. She is our muse.

The world is a better place when Black women have the opportunity to fearlessly thrive. Fostering that environment is what we do. That is our contribution to this world.

In Red Lipstick We Trust. 🇺🇸

Makeup is my super power. I see it as art and is comparable to painting a canvas for me. I feel so emboldened when I’m doing makeup on others or myself, having the freedom to be as creative as I want while making people see how even more beautiful they truly are.

In movies it was always the most glamorous woman in a red lip - I’ve always wanted to be that and with red, I am.

The prettiest girls wear red lipstick ☺️💋

I love make up, it’s the armor of women. My granny always says you look good, you feel good! And she is a lipstick queen. 👑

We draped these icons in all things Blonde Sugar & it’s was legendary.

My relationship with Red Lip developed slowly. I was so comfortable & happy with one shade that I felt no need to step outside the box. Gradually I would see other Black Womens sporting reds & wanted to try them all. Depending on the weather, if I had a tan, what I wore effected which color red to try! I bagan to get excited about red & all its possibilities.

I fell in love with Red Lipstick in 2009. I tried on MAC’s Ruby Whoo & realized how powerful a redlip was. I felt seen.
