Until recently, I had not realized that happiness is a choice.

I used to think my happiness was dependent upon the circumstances of my life. And now I've learned that it's the other way around. The circumstances of my life are dependent upon my choice to be happy.

If you want a very simple, yet powerful way to choose to be happy, it's to smile first. When you choose to smile you become the master of your emotions. Negative emotions like discouragement, fear, disappointment, and frustration will melt away when you smile.

So that's why my tip of the day today is to actively make the choice to smile in the mirror today! Then watch what happens to your attitude!

You want to learn how to do a smokey eye look, so you google it..."How to do a smokey eye" and about a hundred Youtube videos pop up.

So here you are in your bathroom with your phone propped up on your mirror while you try to follow along with the makeup tutorial by the beauty blogger on your screen. Only to finish the video and realize your finished look looks nothing like on the video.
