Big Creek Suds

I wanted to let everyone know that I’ve decided to close Big Creek Suds.

My son Devin is going through a very difficult time right now, and between being there for him, working full‑time, and being in school full‑time, my first priority has to be my family. I just don’t have the time to keep the business going the way it needs to be.

I still have plenty of soaps available, and I’ll continue making soaps for friends and family when I have the time. If you’re friends with me here on Facebook, you can always message me privately to see what I have on hand. I’ll still be selling that way, just on a smaller, more personal level.

Thank you to everyone who supported me. It truly means a lot.

Curing rack is looking pretty full right now and honestly… we are not complaining about it 🫧🌿

We’ve been staying busy making large batches so we can keep up with everything going on right now. A lot of our content is getting seen over on Pinterest and our numbers have really been taking off lately. We’ve been getting a lot of saves, engagement, and interest in our soaps, so we’re trying to make sure we have plenty of inventory ready once our Pinterest merchant shop gets approved.

We’re also going to start offering a Surprise Mystery Imperfect Soap option while they last. These are soaps that may have slightly wonky cuts, cosmetic imperfections, or bars that may cure out a little underweight compared to our regular full bars.

Same scent. Same quality. Same handmade recipe. Just not as pretty as our other bars.

They just do not meet our personal standards to sell at full price, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with them quality wise at all. Instead of wasting perfectly good handmade soap, we’ll be offering them at a discounted price of $5 per bar while supplies last.

These imperfect soaps will not qualify for our bundle discount offers.

Handmade cold process soap takes time to cure properly, but that cure time helps create a harder, longer-lasting bar with a richer lather and better overall feel on the skin.

Now the waiting game begins while these beauties cure. We can’t wait for them to be ready.
