🎄 Merry Christmas, hoomans.

It’s me, Eddie—Salon Boss, Mascot Extraordinaire, Reindeer in Training. 🦴 I’ve been very busy this holiday season supervising snips, sniffing gift bags, and protecting the salon from suspicious squirrels.

But now? I’m officially off-duty, belly full of Christmas cookies, and passed out on the couch. (Do not disturb unless you come bearing snacks.)

Look at this haul! 😻 Thanks to YOU, our little salon family was able to help fill the truck with pet food, treats, and supplies for local animals in need. Eddie personally inspected every bag. 🐾

Eddie would like to personally thank each and every one of you for all the love, head pats, and turkey crumbs he’s received this week. He’s officially entered a post-feast nap spiral and will not be accepting appointments until further notice.

’Tis the season for giving—and I’m hosting a donation drive for my furry friends who don’t have their own chair at a salon.

We’re collecting new pet supplies now through December 12th to support pets in need with Faith in Action, and I could really use your help.

Bring in food, treats, toys, leashes, collars, harnesses, even kitty litter. Every little bit helps! 🐶🐈‍⬛

Drop your donation off at the salon and you’ll be entered to win a gift basket full of my mom’s favorite things (which means it’s basically amazing).

🐾 Hey guys, it’s Eddie. I’m THREE today! 🎂 (That’s either 18 or 28 in beagle years...? The internet is confusing but I’m officially an adult now. Please take me seriously.)

I was born in West Virginia, adopted in Ohio at a gun show (don’t ask), and brought home to Michigan where I now run the finest small town salon in all the land.

🐾 Hey guys, it’s Eddie. I don’t personally use hair product (I’m naturally full-bodied)…BUT I do know that if you’re not sure what your hair needs, just ask Mom (Tracie). She had the best recommendations.

Need shampoo? Conditioner? Run on in! We’ve got shelves stocked with pro-level products for all kinds of hair needs.

Oh—and don’t forget to check out the handmade hats and goodies from our friends at Boxwood Collective. I tried to wear a hat once. Mixed reviews.

No appointment needed to shop. Just come in, sniff around, and say hi.

(Mom says maybe don’t sniff everything. That one might be just me.)

I personally supervised this cut from my chair and made sure every hair was in place and no snacks were dropped during the process. 10/10 would sniff again.

Big news! Dexter Community Schools is doing an Art Walk around town, and some of that amazing student artwork is hangin’ out right here at Shear Bliss! 🎨💇🏻‍♀️

I tried to take a few pics for you… but I’m a little short. (See first photo for my best effort.)
So I had an adult help me with the taller stuff.

Now the salon basically looks like an art gallery. And even if you don’t have an appointment this week, Mom says you’re totally welcome to stop in and check it out! Snacks are by the door🦴 (Mom said it’s fine)!

The Y5–12 ArtWalk runs through May 11, and we’re super proud to be one of the local spots featuring all this talent from Dexter’s young artists.
