I’m Leyton - A licensed Esthetician working @ Salon Mélange in downtown dickson and now taking clients full time! ✨

This client had PCOS and wanted help with her facial hair, so I did a dermaplane for her! We started with a vitamin C cleanser, an anti stress clay mud mask, some hydrating toner and a firming day cream lotion with SPF! Her skin turned out so glowy, supple and smooth after!! ✨

- Esthetician tip: Dermaplaning treatments should be scheduled every three to four weeks depending on hair growth, or approximately once a month. This frequency allows the skin to naturally regenerate between sessions, while still providing benefits like exfoliation and removal of fine hair!
— Consider skin type:
• Oily/Acne-prone skin: Recommend 3-4 week interval is beneficial for removing excess oil and preventing breakouts, but consult your esthetician for personalized advice, especially if skin is sensitive.
- Sensitive skin: You may need to wait longer between sessions, such as 6-8weeks if skin is to sensitive to certain things. (Just keep that in mind.)
- Consistency is the key: Regular treatments help maintain a smoother skin texture and improved overall appearance!

I have some lash tips for you!
Here are some reasons why clients need to get their lash extensions filled in every 2-3 weeks.
- # 1: Natural lash shedding: Just like the hair on your head, your natural lashes follow a growth cycle, shedding every 6-8 weeks. As your natural lashes fall out, the extensions attached to them go too.
- # 2: Maintain Fullness and appearance:
Over time, extensions can fall out or become misaligned. Regular fill ins help maintain the fullness and desired appearance of the lash set.

- # 3: Avoid Gaps: Without regular fill ins, gaps can appear in the lash line as extensions fall off. Fill ins ensure your lashes remain consistently full and beautiful.

- # 4: Prolong the life of the extensions:
Regular maintenance helps extend the life of your lash extensions, ensuring they look their best for longer.
