✨Full transparency…

Not every curly transformation ends with the picture-perfect “after” everyone expects. & I think that’s important to share…

As hairstylists, it’s easy to only post the polished transformations that fit a perfectly curated feed. But that’s not always what a real curl journey looks like.

This client had years of daily ponytail tension, heat damage, and dehydration from wearing her hair pulled back. I intentionally didn’t cut her hair before her Curly Girl Experience because I wanted to see what her curls would naturally do once they were properly hydrated and styled.

The result? Her curls sprang back to life…and with that came shrinkage. A lot of it.

We only trimmed the damaged ends that had lost elasticity and wouldn’t curl anymore.

Is this her final result? No. This is Day One.

Healthy curls are built over time, not in a single appointment. My job isn’t to make your hair look good for one photo. My job is to help you build healthier hair that continues to improve every time you care for it.

Every curl journey starts somewhere. This is just her reset. ❤️
